ArtWalk 2022
September 24th and September 25th
Opening Remarks
Friends,
Welcome to the 18th Annual Artwalk, presented by City Arts Nashua! We are thrilled to be back with an in-person event to celebrate all of the amazing art and craft that is abundant in our City.
Please visit our anchor locations- The Library Plaza and The Picker Artists Building- to see numerous artists of different mediums. We have painting, drawing, jewelry, ceramics, glass, wood, fiber art, mixed media and paper craft, photography, and much more more. Many of our artists will consider commissions and some also teach private lessons or classes in their artform. Please ask each artist about these opportunities if you are interested. We will have live music at each location- please enjoy these performances! Please also enjoy the walk between the two anchor locations as you pass historic and new murals, sculpture, downtown improvements, and numerous small businesses. See the Walking Map below for details.
Downtown Nashua, The Picker Artists, and all of us at City Arts Nashua are eager to welcome you back to downtown Nashua- the heart of our city. We encourage you- this weekend and always- to consider supporting your friends and neighbors by shopping local.
We know that art is the heart and soul of any city and that a strong creative economy helps support vibrancy and resiliency in the community. That is why all of us at City Arts Nashua are so passionate about making art happen every day, for as many people as we can. And that is why we continue to present Artwalk entirely free of charge to the public so that all who are interested may participate.
We would like to thank our generous supporters: The Nashua Arts Commission, The NH State Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Nashua Chamber of Commerce, Amherst FitBody Bootcamp, and Allegra Boverman Photography for their generous support. In addition, we would like to express deeply heartfelt thanks to the Nashua arts community at large, our board and amazing volunteers, and our wonderful Project Manager, Wendy Colby Fisher! Without your effort and support, we would not be able to present Artwalk.
Interested in the Nashua arts scene but unable to attend Artwalk 2022 in person? You can view artist profiles, interviews, studio visits, and performances from Prior Artwalks on our website.
Are you interested in City Arts Nashua and the work that we do? Would you like to get involved? Are you an artist or performer interested in participating in Artwalk 2023? Please contact us at info@cityartsnashua.org to continue the conversation. All are welcome.
Thank you for your support of our artists and arts community! Have a great time at Artwalk 2022.
Best,
Allegra, Bonnie, Gail, Lisa, Marje, Shaunae, and Sue and All of us at City Arts Nashua

This year, we have two different anchor locations for artists where they are exhibiting their talent outside: at the Picker Artists Building and/or the Nashua Public Library Plaza. In both locations, you will find varying types of entertainment, organizations in our community, as well as hosting artists.
The Walking Tour portion (self guided) of our event includes a mapped loop (see below) featuring a curated selection of murals and sculptures in the downtown area between the two anchor locations.
ArtWalk is open 11am-4pm both days
