Deborah Sutton

I grew up in Chelmsford, MA and started drawing and painting at a young age.  I was inspired by my middle school teacher and ultimately won the prestigious Gold Key Award and was honored during a ceremony at Faneuil Hall in Boston.  After graduation my career took a back seat to raising a family and developing a real estate business.  One of the pivotal moments in my life was caring for my life partner, Bruce, during his battle with cancer.  He lost the battle, but his enormous display of courage, humor, positivity and living life to the fullest each and every day became an inspiration to me.  I learned from Bruce that within every adversity, failure and setback in life there exists the potential for the creation of a great benefit. I used this tragedy and his memory to devote myself to my greatest passion, my art.  Now I embrace my passions like never before and people say they can see it in the details of my paintings.  I lovingly take great pride and satisfaction in bringing out the individual details and personality of each and every subject.
