Art for Art's Sake
/Join us for this great opportunity to support "Art for Art's Sake", City Arts Nashua's first online art auction! We are so excited to share some amazing works with you. We are featuring some wonderful pieces by Nashua's own Meri Goyette and Herb Mosher, both wonderful longtime Nashua residents, both nonagenarians, both prolific artists!

Meri has been making a lot of new and vibrant artwork in 2020, part of her abstract collage series she is calling "Cut and Paste." Herb recently retired from his adorable downtown Nashua frame shop and gallery, The Framery, which was in business over 50 years.
This is the perfect time to buy some of their art and works by other local friends, plus more fun art: Father's Day is coming up, it's graduation and wedding season, there's always a birthday to celebrate and let's celebrate you, too!
Consider adding to your collection or finding the perfect gift NOW and help support our cultural work in the Nashua area at the same time! To see the full offering, with descriptions and bidding, visit the on-line auction site:

City Arts Nashua has a long history of promoting our local arts and increasing access to the arts and cultural opportunities. We believe that arts and culture are the heart and soul of any city. A vibrant arts community and a strong creative economy are necessary for the development and growth of the greater Nashua area, now more than ever.
Over the years we have been involved with the creation and restoration of several works of art around the city including the Holman Stadium banners project, “Vivian’s Dream”, “Margaret’s View of Nashua”, and the “Yankee Flyer Diner.” City Arts Nashua has also served as the fiscal agent for several arts organizations including Gate City Charter School for the Arts, Nashua International Sculpture Symposium and the Nashua Performing Arts Center.
